21. The most disturbing book you’ve ever read
I realise I’m posting this late in the day. That is because I’ve spent most of the past 48 hours trying to think of a single disturbing book that I’ve read.
You may have noticed that the large majority of books I read are of the chick lit variety. They are full of love and romance and the most disturbing thing that may happen is that the love goes unrequited or the romantic gestures go ignored until at least chapter 10.
I’ve also been known to read autobiographies, my favourite being Lucky Man by Michael J Fox. Not surprisingly, I’ve never read a particularly disturbing autobiography.
Although my Mum once passed Ant and Dec’s autobiography on to me. I quickly passed it onto a neighbour but I think if I had read it, that may have been the most disturbing book I’d ever read ….
